CLAUDIO ASPREA: Argentine dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Buenos Aires. He travels the world extensively performing and teaching Argentine Tango. Claudio started dancing Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires in 1990 and is a teacher in high demand in Europe and the US. He has performed in Argentina and thru-out the world with several tango companies. In 2006, Claudio produced and released (with his then partner, Agustina Videla) an Argentine Tango instructional DVD, "Tango From the Heart," a 4-hour progressive method on learning how to dance Tango.
He is now the director of the yearly seminars "Tango Holidays in Buenos Aires" and "Tango Holidays in Tuscany." We are happy that he now lives in New York and is looking forward to share his unique teaching with you. and tours around the US teaching and performing.

3:00-5:00 PM EXPLORATION OF ARGENTINE TANGO TECHNIQUE
. Attending to POSTURE ( which one and why).
. Three basic keys for good BALANCE.
. WALKING AND MUSICALITY. THE PAUSE.
3:30-4:30 PM Theme: VOLEOS AND SACADAS.
.Awareness of basic TECHNIQUE of VOLEOS AND SACADAS in
connection to the "leading" and "following."
. Exploration of MOVEMENT MUSICALITY to perform a variety
of VOLCADAS and SACADAS combinations.
4:30-5:00 Assisted PRACTICA.
INTERMEDIATE + LEVEL. No partner necessary
